By placing an order for alcohol on our website you are confirming that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are purchasing alcohol for anyone else, the recipient must also be at least 18 years of age.

When we deliver your alcohol, it must be accepted by someone who is at least 18 years of age. We will ask to see ID if we believe the recipient does not look at least 25 years of age (Challenge 25 policy).

If we are in any doubt of the age of the purchaser or recipient of the alcohol, we reserve the right to withhold delivery and issue a refund.


The minimum order for local delivery is £15, whereas there is no minimum order for national shipping.

For Local Shipping:

Orders below £15 amount are only available as ‘Click & Collect’.  Our local delivery service is available in the following postal areas: RG1 / RG2 / RG4 / RG5 / RG6 / RG7 / RG8 / RG9 / RG10 / RG30 / RG31 / RG40 / RG41.

When placing an order, we ask for an alternative location for delivery if you are not at home when we deliver, and a mobile phone number in order to contact you about your delivery.

For National Shipping:

All UK mainland postcodes are covered by our nationwide shipping coverage. Orders with postcodes that are not within our national shipping region or the local shipping area will be cancelled. After that, the refund will be handled.

We have limited stock of all items available, so when items are gone, they are gone. If for whatever reason we are unable to fulfil your order you will be contacted ASAP to find a solution.


For Local Shipping:

Minimum order for delivery is £15. Orders below this amount are only available as ‘Click & Collect’.  We aim to deliver orders within 3 days from when the order is placed. We will endeavour to contact you before delivering your items to give you an indication of when we will be delivering your order – please try and be at home. If you are not at home, we will deliver to the alternative location specified when you placed your order. If we are unable to delivery your order, and you have not specified an alternative location, we will contact you on the mobile number provided when placing your order to determine how to proceed.

We charge a small delivery fee to cover packaging and delivery costs. If we have attempted delivery but have not been able to deliver your items, we are unable to guarantee redelivery, and we reserve the right to cancel and refund the order.

For Local and National Shipping:

If an order has been delivered correctly to a specified alternative location, we are not liable for that order in the event of it going missing. However, we are always happy to discuss, so please get in touch; orders@thegrumpygoat.co.uk.

We also cannot accept responsibility for delivery failure if you provide an incorrect address and postal code or incorrect contact telephone number. Please check this information when placing your order.


If your order is incomplete or wrong,  please get in touch within 14 days of placing your order to discuss refund and/or replacement options; orders@thegrumpygoat.co.uk.

We may not be able to replace items due to limited stock, but we will always endeavour to find an amicable solution.


If goods are returned to us, they must be in their original packaging, unused, within 14 days of purchase. Please get in touch if you would like to make a return at orders@thegrumpygoat.co.uk and we will discuss options with you. We will aim to refund goods once received back to us, minus applicable delivery costs, unless the return concerns faulty or damaged goods.

If any of your items are faulty, you must inform us within 14 days of receipt of the order to obtain a refund. To report a problem please contact us at orders@thegrumpygoat.co.uk.
